Webcomics

There are so many really cool webcomics being published online! Webtoon is of course one of the best known sources, but there’s plenty that are hosted on their own websites. Here’s a small selection. For more, see the Belfry Webcomics Index, GoComics, and science cartoons plus.

xkcd is my absolute favourite, it’s so funny and I’ve learnt so many things from it! Ones that I think about on the daily are

• 327: DROP TABLE STUDENTS
• 505: bunch of rocks
• 927: standards
• 1053: lucky 10,000
• 2347: dependency
• 2501: experts one

But honestly go there, click random, and you’ll find something cool.

Behind You is an amazing series of animated horror one-panels.

Existential Comics parodies philosophers and makes me feel smarter than I am.

Tom Gauld has an instantly recognisable style and has done really funny satire for NewScientist and The New Yorker.

Cyanide & Happiness is an absolute classsic.

How To Watch a Baby is a lovely one-shot by the Verge on parents using baby surveillance tech.
