Bhindi

Ingredients:

  1. Wash, thoroughly dry, and chop the bhindi
  2. Heat 1.5 tbsp of vegetable oil at medium heat
  3. Once hot, add 1/4 tsp cumin and 1/8 tsp asafoetida
  4. Once splattering/browned, add the chopped chili
  5. Wait a little, add the onion
  6. Increase heat to high
  7. Fry for a couple of minutes until slightly browned
  8. Add 1/4 tsp turmeric, bhindi, and 1/2 tsp salt
  9. Turn heat down to medium/low
  10. Cook for a good long while, like 20 min
  11. Once bhindi are soft and cooked, add
  12. Increase heat to medium high and cook
  13. Once cooked to golden, add peanut powder/butter and stir
