Watched this on the evening of Tues 14th Nov, 2023, in Curzon.
A good movie, I thought! Classic A24, and the conceit of some guy (Cage) appearing in people dreams was just brilliant, and I actually thought they did some of the dream sequences really well! They captured the serendipity and the way you accept what’s happening as normal even though it’s not.
There was a bit about cancel culture I thought was pointless, and the end was mostly mediocre (except for maybe the final scene) but the first half was just brilliant, especially the painfully cringey/hilarious/devastating bit with the advertising company secretary who invites him round.
