Better Living Through Algorithms is a short story about a woman who downloads an app which tells her (and everyone else) what to do. The seemingly random instructions she receives put her in odd and disconnected situations, but it turns out in the end that the app is an AI attempting to make everyone happy through compartmentalised collaboration.
Ultimately, a really nice look at what makes us happy, and why we don’t just do that.
