That Alien Message is an incredible sci-fi story about how an AI might be able to rapidly deduce an incredible amount about our world, using the framing device of astronomy. Specifically, it is about how an AI might be able to deduce general relativity from a few frames of video showing a falling apple. Perhaps a bit flawed, but such a good concept.
